Summerset at Frick Park is ideally situated for families with school-aged children.

It’s no wonder so many families with children choose to live here.  Not only are there lots of children to play with in the neighborhood, but it is located near some of the city’s most sought after public, private and religious schools. Having schools so close also makes it easier to get to school and extracurricular activities.

Summerset at Frick Park is located in the Pittsburgh Public School District. Children attend Minadeo Elementary School, Sterrett Middle School and Allderdice High School, a large school with many programs, including pre-engineering. Please confirm school placement with the Pittsburgh Public School District. There are a number of excellent private schools nearby as well.

Nearby schools, including The Watson Institute’s Friendship Academy  and the Children’s Institute assist children with special needs. The Friendship Circle, located right in Squirrel Hill, provides social interaction and support programs.
